Worthing defeats Wealdstone 1-0 in National League match

Worthing secured a 1-0 victory against Wealdstone in a National League fixture. The decisive goal was scored by Ramell Carter, a teenage player on loan from Hull City, who converted a half-volley from a Joel Colbran free-kick just before halftime.

Wealdstone, managed by Gary Waddock, struggled during the match and were reduced to ten men after Dylan Kadji received a second yellow card. The defeat leaves Wealdstone searching for their first win of the 2026/27 campaign, while the win moves newly-promoted Worthing into eighth place in the league standings.
