Worthington Enterprises beats fiscal 2027 first-quarter estimates

Worthington Enterprises reported its first-quarter fiscal 2027 results for the period ended August 31, 2026, exceeding analyst expectations. The industrial products manufacturer reported net sales of approximately $343.9 million, representing a 13% increase compared to the first quarter of fiscal 2026. This growth was driven by 7% organic growth and 6% from recent acquisitions.

Net earnings rose 22% to $42.6 million. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) reached $0.87, while adjusted diluted EPS was $0.82. The company also saw significant improvements in cash flow, with free cash flow increasing by $26.1 million to $54.0 million.

During the period, the company repurchased 335,000 common shares and declared a quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share. Additionally, Worthington Enterprises renamed two of its business segments: Building Products is now Building Performance Solutions, and Consumer Products is now Trade & Specialty Solutions.
