Worx and SEESII lead performance in cordless mini chainsaw tests

Recent evaluations of cordless mini chainsaws highlight high-performing models for garden maintenance, specifically for pruning branches and removing deadwood.

In testing conducted by IMTEST, the Worx WG327E earned a 'very good' rating, securing the top spot. This 20-volt model is noted for its balance, weighing only 1.5 kilograms including the battery, which facilitates one-handed use. It features a chain speed of 7.8 m/s and automatic chain lubrication with an oil level indicator.

Market data from Amazon shows the SEESII mini chainsaw as a highly popular alternative, ranking second in bestseller lists with nearly 17,500 reviews. The SEESII model features a 900-watt copper motor capable of cutting through 15 cm of wood in eight seconds. It includes two 4000-mAh batteries for up to 120 minutes of runtime and offers compatibility with Makita battery systems. It also utilizes an automatic oiling system.

Other notable models mentioned include the Einhell Professional GP-PS 18/20 Li BL-Solo and Einhell's own battery-powered branch chainsaw, which remains a top seller among hobby gardeners despite a higher price point.
