Wout Faes transfers from Leicester City to Shabab Al Ahli

Belgian central defender Wout Faes has completed a permanent transfer from Leicester City to Shabab Al Ahli Club in the United Arab Emirates. The 28-year-old moves to the UAE Pro League following a period of uncertainty at Leicester, where he had not featured in the squad since the summer.

Faes, who has earned 28 caps for the Belgian national team, previously played for clubs including Stade de Reims, AS Monaco, and Anderlecht. Leicester City released a statement thanking him for his service, noting he made 136 appearances and scored six goals for the club.

At Shabab Al Ahli, Faes will play under coach André Jardine and join teammates such as Nemanja Maksimovic. With an estimated market value of approximately 10 million euros, he is expected to be one of the most highly valued players in the squad.
