WOWOW announces Summer Sonic 2026 broadcast lineup

WOWOW has announced the broadcast and streaming lineup for Summer Sonic 2026. To celebrate the festival's 25th anniversary, the network will provide exclusive coverage of the three-day event held at ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Chiba.

A highlight program featuring key performances from artists such as The Strokes, Ado, and L’Arc-en-Ciel is scheduled to air and stream on September 27. Following this, WOWOW will broadcast exclusive coverage of the three individual festival days throughout October.

The Day 1 lineup includes The Strokes, FKA Twigs, Jennie, and Kasabian. Day 2 features Ado, BE:FIRST, and Sakanaction. Day 3 includes L’Arc-en-Ciel, BABYMETAL, and LE SSERAFIM. The coverage will also include footage from the beach stage that was not included in previous live streams.
