WPIAL announces 2026 fall sports championship schedules

WPIAL officials have announced the championship dates and venues for most fall sports for the 2026 season. While most schedules are set, dates and locations for football and soccer championships remain unconfirmed, with officials aiming to finalize these details by the end of the week.

Scheduled venues include White Oak Park for cross country, North Allegheny High School for field hockey, and various country clubs for golf. Tennis championships are slated for Bethel Park and North Allegheny.

In girls high school soccer, the season is transitioning from non-conference matches to a heavy schedule of section contests across all four classifications. Recent scores include West Shamokin defeating Valley 13-0 and Brownsville defeating McKeesport 10-1.
