WPIAL high school soccer rankings and schedules released

WPIAL high school soccer rankings and schedules for September 2026 show significant movement across various classes. In Girls Class 4A, Peters Township holds the top rank, followed by Seneca Valley and North Allegheny. In Boys Class 4A, Seneca Valley leads the rankings, with Norwin and Peters Township following.

The North Allegheny boys soccer team has demonstrated a notable increase in offensive production. After struggling with low scoring rates last season, the Tigers have secured consecutive 3-0 victories over Canon-McMillan and Central Catholic. Coach Manuel Montero noted that the team possesses more attackers this year, providing multiple scoring options beyond last year's leader, Francis Randiga.

Upcoming match schedules for September 14 include several sectional contests, such as North Allegheny facing Seneca Valley in Boys Class 4A, Section 3, and various matchups across Class 3A, 2A, and A divisions.
