WPP Media partners with AI startup Kily to boost ecommerce in India

WPP Media announced a strategic technology partnership with Indian AI startup Kily to enhance its commerce offering across the Indian market. The collaboration integrates Kily's AI agents—designed to autonomously manage product listings, pricing and advertising across marketplaces and quick‑commerce platforms—with WPP Media’s Commerce Practice and the group’s agentic marketing platform, WPP Open. Together they will launch an Integrated Commerce Planner that unifies data and signals from multiple commerce channels, enabling brands to plan, activate and measure investments in a more predictive, outcome‑driven manner.

Kily, founded by former Flipkart and Affle executives Sankalp Mehrotra and Anurag Singh, aims to address the fragmented multi‑marketplace landscape in India. “Kily is deeply focused on bringing autonomy to commerce management,” said Mehrotra. Ashwin Padmanabhan, COO of WPP Media South Asia, added that the partnership moves ecommerce from reactive execution to a connected, intelligent system capable of faster response to market dynamics.
