Wren Evans performs new track at Tinh Hà Say Hi finale

During the second finale of the music competition Tinh Hà Say Hi, singer Wren Evans performed the song ‘YEU’, a collaboration with producer itsnk. The performance marked a departure from his previous musical styles, utilizing a modern hip-hop beat that Evans had been holding for approximately two years. He noted that he had previously hesitated to write lyrics for the track due to concerns that the sound might be too difficult for a mainstream audience to accept.

Evans described his experience on the program as a ‘rebirth’ that reignited his passion for music. The performance received praise from host Trấn Thành for his musical thinking and courage to choose artistic desire over safe, conventional options. Additionally, Evans hinted at a new album project, suggesting that ‘YEU’ could be part of ‘ACT III’, following his previous albums ‘Loi Choi’ and ‘Nổ’.
