Wren Sinclair wins NXT Battle Royal to challenge for Women’s Championship
Wren Sinclair made a surprise return to WWE NXT on the October 6 episode, winning a twenty-person Battle Royal while disguised as Lady Shani. Sinclair, who was previously under indefinite suspension, secured her position as the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Following the victory, Sinclair is set to challenge champion Kelani Jordan at the Halloween Havoc event. The Battle Royal featured various competitors, including Kali Armstrong, who was the final person eliminated before the unmasking of Sinclair.
Other notable results from the episode included Zilla Fatu defeating Lexis King, followed by an attack on Fatu by The BirthRight. In the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey advanced to the next round after defeating the Tokyo Bad Boys.
