Las Vegas Stadium Authority reveals lower WrestleMania 42 attendance

The Las Vegas Stadium Authority has released official attendance figures for WWE WrestleMania 42, revealing a significant decline compared to the previous year. The two-night event held at Allegiant Stadium saw a combined attendance of 97,126, with 47,093 fans attending on Saturday and 50,033 on Sunday.

This total represents an approximately 18% decrease from WrestleMania 41, which drew 118,641 attendees at the same venue. While WWE’s own reported figures were higher—claiming a total of 106,071—all major metrics, including estimates from WrestleTix, indicate a downward trend in ticket sales.

Despite the drop in attendance, WWE and its parent company, TKO, characterized the event as one of the highest-grossing in company history, citing strong performance in merchandise, sponsorships, and VIP experiences. The decision to host the event in Las Vegas for a second consecutive year was part of a strategic move involving a $6 million site fee from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

Looking ahead, WWE plans to move WrestleMania 43 to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the event's first time being held outside of North America.
