Wrestler MVP discusses Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome diagnosis

Professional wrestler MVP has shared details regarding his heart health, revealing that he has been diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. The condition, which affects the heart’s electrical system and can cause an unusually rapid heart rate, was originally identified during a WWE wellness program in 2007.

Speaking on the ‘Marking Out with MVP & Dwayne Swayze Show’, MVP noted that he recently underwent a CT scan to monitor his condition. He reported that his cardiologist provided reassuring news, stating that while the syndrome is present, his heart appears healthy and he is not at immediate risk of a heart attack.

MVP’s comments were prompted by the recent deaths of several individuals in the wrestling community, including PAC, Andy ‘The Butcher’ Williams, and longtime fan Rick ‘Sign Guy’ Achberger. He used the platform to urge fellow wrestlers, particularly those approaching middle age or with histories of substance use, to prioritize regular medical screenings and not assume they are healthy based solely on how they feel.
