Wrexham AFC signs Callum O’Hare from Sheffield United
Wrexham AFC has completed the signing of attacking midfielder Callum O’Hare from Sheffield United. The 28-year-old joins on a three-year contract, with an option for an additional year, for an undisclosed fee believed to be approximately £6 million.
O’Hare, who made 45 league appearances and scored eight goals for Sheffield United last season, is expected to undergo a medical. His arrival marks Wrexham’s seventh summer signing as the club seeks to strengthen its squad for a promotion push in the Championship.
In related transfer news, Wrexham has also agreed to terminate the contract of 31-year-old midfielder Elliot Lee. This move makes the attacking midfielder available on a free transfer, with Sheffield Wednesday reportedly among the clubs interested in his services.
