Wrigley's reintroduces classic gum varieties in limited release

Wrigley's is reintroducing three classic gum varieties—Spearmint, Doublemint, and Big Red—to retail shelves. The move comes after Mars, the parent company, ceased production of these lines in late 2022 due to declining market trends.

While the new release aims to replicate the original taste and visual branding, there is a significant change in format. Instead of the traditional thin paper strips, the gum will be sold exclusively as sugar-free dragees to improve portion control. This special edition is a limited-time offer intended to run until early December 2026, subject to availability.
