Writer Chris Papasadero discusses inspiration for Ghost Soldier

Writer Chris Papasadero has revealed that the central inspiration for the action-thriller Ghost Soldier is the growing convergence of corporate and government power. The film, starring Jim Caviezel, follows Henry “Fitz” Fitzgerald, a former Special Forces soldier and weapons developer who lives off the grid.

The plot centers on Fitzgerald’s struggle to protect his community and land from a powerful foreign corporation attempting to acquire property for a major commercial project. Papasadero noted that the film explores themes of power, ownership, and resistance, specifically through a confrontation where the protagonist questions who holds true authority when corporations exert control over governments.

Jim Caviezel stated that the film reflects the human instinct to protect home, family, and community. The movie is scheduled for release in Indian cinemas on November 13, 2026, and is produced and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing International.
