Writer Juan del Val mocks Pedro Sánchez over name error

Writer Juan del Val has used his television appearance on ‘La Roca’ to mock Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez following a verbal error made by the leader during a recent interview.

During an appearance on ‘La Revuelta’, Sánchez mistakenly referred to the writer as ‘Julio Valls’ while recounting an anecdote. The error prompted immediate corrections from the interviewers and led to social media criticism from del Val, who responded with irony on Instagram.

The situation resurfaced during a broadcast of ‘La Roca’ on La Sexta, hosted by Nuria Roca, who is also del Val’s wife. While introducing the panelists for International Library Day, Roca accidentally mispronounced his name, prompting del Val to joke about the coincidence and reference the Prime Minister’s previous mistake.
