Writer Tânia Rocha attacks Latam pilot following flight removal

Writer and therapist Tânia Rocha has sparked controversy after posting videos on social media attacking a Latam pilot. The incident occurred during a flight from Florianópolis to Guarulhos following a dispute regarding the transport of Rocha's dog in the cabin.

According to reports, the pilot ordered Rocha to leave the aircraft after determining that her pet's carrier exceeded the space available under the seat, posing a safety risk. While Rocha claims she followed the dimensions provided by the airline, Latam maintains strict regulations for animals in the cabin, including specific maximum dimensions for both rigid and flexible containers.

In her social media posts, Rocha referred to the pilot as a “racist black man” and used other insults. She also made generalized comments regarding Black people. Through an assistant, Rocha stated she is currently in Italy and expressed shock at what she described as the “aggressiveness of the Latam pilot.”
