Writers in Publishing Summit announced for Rijeka

The Writers in Publishing Summit (WIP Summit) is scheduled to take place for the first time in Rijeka on October 17, 2026. Held at the Palach club and SKC Galleries, the professional conference aims to connect authors and provide practical knowledge regarding the literary market.

The day-long program includes workshops on writing, plot planning, publishing, marketing, and networking within both domestic and international markets. The event is designed for both new and experienced writers, offering panels and small group meetings to facilitate professional growth.

Featured participants include fantasy author Jelena Dunato, who has experience with both foreign and domestic publishing, and the Split-based publisher Naklada Fragment. The summit will provide insights into how publishers select titles and what authors should know before approaching publishers.
