Wrocław expands physical education with skating and water park programs

The city of Wrocław has launched the 18th edition of the ‘Spartan for Schools’ program, which allows students to move physical education classes from traditional school halls to specialized sports facilities. The initiative provides approximately 4,000 children from roughly 50 schools and kindergartens with access to roller skating and ice skating lessons.

For the year 2026, the city has allocated 4 million PLN to the program. Participating schools are provided with all necessary equipment, including skates, helmets, and protective gear, while students are supervised by experienced instructors. Additionally, the city has allocated approximately 1.67 million PLN for a separate program that brings physical education classes to the Wrocław Water Park.
