Wrocław implements major road, cycling, and school infrastructure upgrades
Wrocław is undergoing extensive infrastructure upgrades across its transport and educational sectors. Under the ‘Wrocław na Dobrej Drodze 2026’ program, major road renovations have been completed on Ignuta and Rdestowa streets, involving significant asphalt replacement and underground infrastructure regulation.
Simultaneously, modernization is underway on Bożego Ciała Street to construct a new 300-meter two-way bicycle path. This project, costing over 2.7 million PLN, aims to connect key areas including Widok, Świdnicka, and Kazimierza Wielkiego streets. Construction is currently in a critical phase involving asphalt laying and traffic re-routing, with completion expected by the end of the year.
The city is also investing heavily in educational facilities through thermal modernization and expansion projects. Notable works include a nearly 10 million PLN renovation of Zespół Szkół nr 1, upgrades to Primary School nr 83, and the expansion of Primary School nr 6 to include new sports and didactic blocks. These initiatives focus on improving energy efficiency, accessibility, and learning environments.
