Wrocław universities gain new professors via presidential nominations

The President of Poland has officially announced new professorial nominations, as published in Monitor Polski. Out of 152 scientists and artists honored nationwide, 15 are affiliated with academic institutions in Wrocław.

Wrocław University of Science and Technology welcomed five new professors specializing in architecture, space technology, artificial intelligence, chemical engineering, and environmental engineering. The University of Wrocław also added five new professors across fields including financial law, psychology, experimental physics, and biotransformation.

Other local institutions receiving new professors include the Wroclaw University of Economics, the Wroclaw Medical University, the Academy of Fine Arts, and the Academy of Physical Education. The formal process will conclude with a ceremonial diploma presentation led by Karol Nawrocki.
