Wrocław University of Science and Technology to build Tech Innovation Park

Wrocław University of Science and Technology (PWr) has signed a financial agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to establish the Wrocław Tech Innovation Park LEM (Life, Energy & Materials). The initial funding tranche is 150 million PLN, part of a potential total EIB support of up to 600 million PLN.

The total cost of the project is expected to exceed 1.3 billion PLN. In addition to EIB funding, the university will contribute over 700 million PLN from its own funds, EU resources, and other sources. The project, supported by the InvestEU program, aims to strengthen European technological competitiveness.

Scheduled for development between 2025 and 2030, the park will consist of a network of research and teaching centers. The project includes 15 construction tasks covering 46,800 square meters and the equipping of ten research centers. A key component is the Health Tech Synergy Hub, a 21,300 square meter facility dedicated to research at the intersection of engineering, medicine, and biology.
