Wrtn Technologies raises 100 billion won in Series C funding

South Korean AI service platform Wrtn Technologies has raised 100 billion won (approximately $72 million USD) in a Series C funding round. This investment brings the company’s total funding to approximately 230 billion won. With this latest round, Wrtn Technologies has become the first South Korean AI service startup to achieve a valuation exceeding 1 trillion won.

New investors in this round include Coreline Ventures and Eugene Asset Management, joining existing backers such as Goodwater Capital, Antler Global, Woori Venture Partners, Sui Generis Partners, Korea Development Bank (KDB), and Capstone Partners.

The company operates several platforms, including the AI service platform ‘wrtn’, and AI entertainment content platforms ‘Crack’ and ‘OOC’. Wrtn reported significant global traction with its ‘OOC’ platform, which launched in North America in May 2026 and surpassed 10 billion won in monthly revenue within just three months. The company expects its 2026 total revenue to exceed 200 billion won, a substantial increase from the previous year.
