Września and Bielsko‑Biała launch free summer concert series

From July 10, the town of Września in western Poland began a free open‑air summer concert series called “Piątki z Jazzem i nie tylko…”. Organized by the mayor and the local cultural centre, the weekly Friday evenings feature a rotating programme of jazz, rock and bossa nova, with the inaugural performance by Marysia Sadowska and her band. The events are scheduled for every Friday through August on the town’s main square.

In the southern city of Bielsko‑Biała, the municipal cultural centre presented a two‑night music weekend on Plac Wojska Polskiego. On Friday, July 10, the “Koterbska on Broadway” concert honoured legendary Polish singer Maria Koterbska with swing and Broadway‑style arrangements. On Saturday, July 11, pop artist Oskar Cyms performed his recent hits for a younger audience. Both concerts highlight local cultural programming and attract residents for live music in public venues.
