WSO2 opens first Africa-based office in Johannesburg

WSO2, a global enterprise digital infrastructure firm, has opened its first Africa-based office in Johannesburg, South Africa. The expansion follows approximately 30 percent year-on-year revenue growth in the region over the last two years.

The company aims to support governments, banks, telecommunications providers, and retailers as they modernize legacy systems and prepare for AI adoption. WSO2 plans to further expand into East, West, and North African markets through a partnership-led approach.

The announcement precedes WSO2Con Africa, the company’s flagship technology conference, which will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, from September 22 to 24. The event will focus on topics including digital sovereignty, integration, and agentic AI.
