WTFN Group launches Radar Studios by integrating Radar and Fred Media

WTFN Group has announced the launch of Radar Studios, a new integrated business formed by merging its digital entity, Radar, with the traditional television distributor Fred Media. The new studio is scheduled to make its official debut at MIPCOM in October.

Radar Studios will operate through three core divisions: Network, which manages owned FAST and digital channels such as Bondi Vet, Real Emergency, and Untamed; Distribution, which represents owned and third-party content internationally; and Content, which focuses on acquiring third-party material and developing original productions.

Chief Commercial Officer Derek Dyson will lead the new business. The restructuring aims to create a more sustainable model and mitigate content supply challenges by maximizing legacy intellectual property and investing in a new pipeline of original content.
