Wu Qing-feng composes theme song for drama ‘Accept the Producer’

Singer-songwriter Wu Qing-feng has composed the theme song ‘Sunny Doll’ (晴天娃娃) for the upcoming drama series ‘Accept the Producer’ (接招吧！製作人). To create the track, Wu reportedly approached the project by attempting to strip away his extensive musical experience to capture the simplicity of a beginning creator.

The song serves as a central element of the series, which explores the Mandopop industry during the 2000s. Wu also appeared in the music video alongside the show's lead actors, including Yang Yu-ning and 9m88. The collaboration marks a reunion for the artists; Wu previously worked with Yang in a 2008 musical and with 9m88 on a 2018 single.

The theme song and its accompanying music video are scheduled for digital release on August 28, coinciding with the series premiere on HBO Max.
