Wu-Tang Clan music featured in Call of Duty and upcoming documentary

The Wu-Tang Clan is expanding its cultural footprint through a major gaming collaboration and a new documentary. The group’s classic track ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ will be featured in the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The game will include the original version in its opening cinematic, while a remix—produced by RZA and Martin Wave—will play during the end credits. The remix features Korean hip-hop artists LEE YOUNGJI, E SENS, and Jay Park, reflecting the game’s new Korean setting.

Separately, a new Netflix documentary titled ‘The Disciple: A Wu-Tang Fable’ (2026) will explore the group’s controversial 2015 sale of the album ‘Once Upon a Time in Shaolin’. Conceived as a unique piece of conceptual art to protest music piracy, the album was sold at auction for a reported $2 million. The buyer was later revealed to be Martin Shkreli, an event that caused significant division within the group.
