Wugu convenience store brawl leaves one injured

Two men engaged in a physical altercation at a convenience store in the Wugu District of New Taipei City. The incident occurred on the evening of September 10, involving a 33-year-old man and a 25-year-old man who were reportedly drinking inside the store.

The dispute reportedly began after the two men, who were strangers, had physical contact due to standing too close to one another. The ensuing fight resulted in merchandise being scattered across the floor and blood being spilled at the scene.

Police responded to the scene and transported the more seriously injured individual to Tamsui Magokai Hospital. The other individual was arrested at the scene. Both parties have filed mutual complaints for injury, and the case has been referred to the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office.
