Wule Symphony Orchestra to perform in Milan
The Wule Symphony Orchestra, the world’s largest musical ensemble of Chan monks, is scheduled to perform at the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan on November 2 at 20:00. Directed by Maestro Shi Wule, the event is organized by music critic and cultural mediator Sean White.
Supported by the Italy-China Cultural Exchange and Development Center (ICCX) and the World Association for Peace and Inner Harmony (AMPAI), the concert aims to foster peace and cultural dialogue. Proceeds and support from the event are intended to establish a new meditation center in Italy designed to host artists and promote harmony.
Maestro Shi Wule is an international figure in the intersection of spirituality and art. The orchestra has previously performed at UNESCO and has been recognized for its scale, with associations including a meeting with Pope Francis and collaborations with tenor Plácido Domingo.
