Wuling Motors unveils electric Mitra EV ambulance in Jakarta

Wuling Motors has unveiled the Wuling Mitra EV Ambulance, a specialized electric vehicle developed in collaboration with Ambulance Pintar Indonesia (API). The vehicle was showcased at the Emergency Disaster Reduction & Rescue (EDRR) Indonesia 2026 event held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

Designed to support healthcare services and emergency response, the Mitra EV Ambulance aims to provide a functional, efficient, and environmentally friendly mobility solution for public health needs. The patient cabin measures 205 cm in length, 128 cm in height, and 140 cm in width, featuring hospital-grade antibacterial vinyl flooring, lighting, air conditioning, and medical equipment cabinets.

The vehicle is equipped with standard emergency medical tools, including a patient monitor, AED defibrillator, portable ventilator, portable suction, and a stretcher landing. This initiative highlights the potential of commercial electric vehicles to serve public service sectors beyond daily commuting.
