Wunmi Mosaku to Voice Roxy Rocket in Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2

Oscar‑nominated actress Wunmi Mosaku has been confirmed to voice the classic DC villain Roxy Rocket in the upcoming second season of the animated series Batman: Caped Crusader. Co‑showrunner James Tucker announced that Mosaku will deliver a “radically different” interpretation, giving the former stuntwoman‑turned‑robber a tragic backstory and a more mysterious edge.

The character’s redesign draws on 1950s sci‑fi influences, rocket engineer Jack Parsons and DC’s own Bulletman, with a visual motif resembling a missile. Tucker said the new incarnation will challenge Batman’s single‑mindedness and add emotional depth to the hero.

Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 is slated to premiere on Prime Video on July 31.
