Wuppertal Mayor accuses AfD members of photographing her home

Miriam Scherff, the Mayor of Wuppertal, has accused members of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party of photographing her private residence. Scherff stated in a video that she received information regarding the incident and was able to identify two individuals immediately.

Scherff characterized the incident as a “perfidious method” intended to exert pressure on political figures within their private environments. She noted that the police have been informed of the situation. This follows previous reports from Scherff in July regarding online hate speech and sexualized insults directed at her and her family.
