Wuppertal residents perform Pina Bausch’s ‘Nelken Line’ on the B7

Over 1,000 participants gathered in Wuppertal, Germany, to perform the ‘Nelken Line’, a famous choreography by Pina Bausch. Despite heavy rain and cool temperatures, dancers moved along two closed lanes of the B7 highway.

The performance involved various groups led by members of the Pina Bausch Ensemble, using simple gestures to symbolize the four seasons. The event served as a demonstration of support for the future Pina Bausch Zentrum and the preservation of the choreographer's legacy.
