Wuppertal youth showcases porcelain birds on ‘Bares für Rares’
A young man named Simon from Wuppertal made a notable appearance on the ZDF show ‘Bares für Rares’ alongside his father, Daniel. Simon presented two porcelain birds that were previously gifted to him by a clergyman.
The collector items, created by artist Franz Rauch and produced by the Ens manufacturer in Thuringia, were highly praised by expert Dr. Friederike Werner for their naturalistic design. While Simon initially expected a value between 30 and 40 euros, Dr. Werner appraised the figures at a significantly higher value of 100 to 150 euros.
Following the appraisal, Simon entered the dealer room to negotiate the sale of the items.
