Wuthering Heights stage production scheduled for October 2026

A new theatrical adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights is set to run from October 20 to 25, 2026. Starring Giulio Corso and Federica De Benedittis, the production offers a gothic and visionary interpretation of the classic novel’s tormented romance.

Adapted by Gianni Clementi and directed by Francesco Bellomo and Carmine De Amicis, the play focuses on the intense, obsessive relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine. The staging utilizes a dark, atmospheric landscape to reflect the characters' internal unrest, employing shadows and silence to evoke a primordial, gothic world. The production aims to portray the visceral and destructive nature of the protagonists' bond, which transcends social conventions and mortality.
