WV Connect 2026 to unite India's wedding and film industries

The WV Connect Season 4 summit, themed “Weddings & Films,” is scheduled to take place from September 1 to 3, 2026, at Arth Resorts in Hyderabad. This event marks the first time India's wedding and film industries will converge on a single business platform.

The summit aims to capitalize on the shared creative foundations of both sectors, such as storytelling, production design, and cinematography. It is expected to host over 800 delegates from more than 20 cities, including wedding planners, filmmakers, luxury hospitality brands, and technology providers.

Organizers highlight that the two industries increasingly overlap, with luxury weddings often utilizing film-style sets, lighting, and visual effects. The event will explore collaboration opportunities in areas like wedding cinematography, production design, and the adoption of filmmaking techniques such as virtual production and AI-powered guest experiences in the wedding sector.
