WWE and AEW hold major wrestling events in Chicago on same night

Professional wrestling promotions WWE and AEW are holding major events in the Chicago area on September 26, 2026. WWE and AAA will host Worlds Collide at the Allstate Arena, while AEW will hold All Out at the NOW Arena.

WWE has confirmed that Worlds Collide will not be broadcast live. Instead, the event will be taped and released on YouTube on Wednesday, September 30, at 7 p.m. ET. This decision follows earlier uncertainty regarding distribution and commentary, with WWE Hall of Famer JBL noting that commentators would record voice-overs at a later date rather than attending in person.

AEW All Out is scheduled as a live pay-per-view event and has reportedly sold out its venue. The AEW card features a main event between Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley. Meanwhile, the Worlds Collide card includes talent from WWE, NXT, and AAA, featuring matches with CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and Roxanne Perez.

Reports suggest the scheduling of Worlds Collide on the same night as All Out was intended to compete with AEW's viewership, though AEW's event has already reached capacity.
