WWE and AAA Worlds Collide draws 76,000 average YouTube viewers
The WWE and AAA collaboration, Worlds Collide, aired on YouTube with an average of 76,000 concurrent viewers worldwide across English and Spanish broadcasts. Viewership peaked at 107,000 during the main event, a six-man tag team match featuring CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and El Grande Americano defeating Omos, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio.
The event was taped at the Allstate Arena in Chicago before its Wednesday premiere. While the show drew a live crowd of 14,000 people, its broadcast timing drew criticism because it aired simultaneously with AEW Dynamite, which was hosting a special tribute episode for the late wrestler PAC.
Match results included La Catalina retaining the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Roxanne Perez, and Penta and Rey Fénix defeating Los Perros del Mal via disqualification. Mini Vikingo also secured a victory over Axiom, EK Prosper, and Je’Von Evans to become a contender for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.
