WWE announces Money in the Bank 2026 match updates

WWE has announced several updates for the Money in the Bank 2026 event, scheduled for October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. A new singles match has been added to the card featuring Oba Femi against Bronson Reed, marking Reed’s first match since returning from a biceps injury.

Championship matches confirmed for the event include a World Heavyweight Championship bout between Roman Reigns and LA Knight, and a Women’s World Championship match involving Stephanie Vaquer against either Becky Lynch or Liv Morgan.

The final qualifiers for the men’s and women’s ladder matches will take place on this week’s SmackDown. The men’s ladder match currently features Bron Breakker, Je'Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, and CM Punk, with one spot remaining. The triple threat match on SmackDown will feature Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Johnny Gargano to determine the final participant.
