WWE announces multi-year event deal in Perth, Australia

WWE has announced a multi-year agreement to host Weekend Takeovers in Perth, Australia, from 2026 through 2028. The partnership with the Western Australian Government and Tourism Western Australia will feature events at the RAC Arena, beginning with the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event on December 12, 2026. The takeover schedule includes SmackDown on December 11 and Raw on December 14.

Regarding broadcasting, Wrestlepalooza is expected to air on ESPN Unlimited in the United States and YouTube globally, while international fans can watch the events live on Netflix. In the U.S., SmackDown will air on a tape delay on the USA Network.

Separately, industry speculation suggests potential collaboration between Netflix and Peacock regarding WWE content. Reports indicate a possible arrangement where a Peacock hub could be integrated into Netflix, allowing subscribers to access certain content, such as Saturday Night’s Main Event, through bundled subscriptions.
