WWE signs three-year deal to host annual events in Perth through 2028
WWE has entered a three-year partnership with the Western Australian Government, through Tourism Western Australia, to host annual WWE Weekend Takeovers in Perth from 2026 through 2028. The agreement aims to leverage sports tourism to drive regional economic growth, following previous events that generated over AUD $58 million for the state.
The inaugural takeover under this new deal will begin in December 2026 at RAC Arena. The schedule includes Friday Night SmackDown on December 11, the Premium Live Event Wrestlepalooza: Perth on December 12, and Monday Night Raw on December 14.
In addition to the televised broadcasts, the weekend will feature various fan experiences across Perth, such as WWE Superstores, superstar meet-and-greets, and community activities. Three-event combo tickets are scheduled for general sale on September 10, with a pre-sale beginning September 9.
