WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H Says Live Event Schedule Remains a Dilemma

WWE chief content officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque said the company is still weighing the advantages of live house shows against the physical toll on performers. After scaling back non‑televised events in recent years, WWE revived some house shows this summer to give younger talent, especially those from NXT, more in‑ring experience.

Levesque compared the decision to the debate over full‑contact practice in football, noting that while live events provide valuable reps for development, the increasing physicality of modern wrestling risks unnecessary mileage for the roster. He acknowledged there is no easy answer and expressed a desire to keep some live events rather than eliminate them entirely.
