WWE prepares match cards for NXT Heatwave and Sunday Night’s Main Event

WWE is finalizing match cards for two upcoming events: NXT Heatwave 2026 and Sunday Night’s Main Event.

NXT Heatwave, scheduled for August 30 at the Performance Center, features a championship unification triple threat match between Zaria, Wren Sinclair, and Kali Armstrong for the Women’s North American and Women’s Speed Championships. Other confirmed matches include the NXT Championship bout involving Tony D’Angelo, Grayson Waller, Cruz Montana, and Zilla Fatu, and a submission match between Nattie and Jaida Parker.

For the September 6 Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, several women’s matches are under discussion. Reports suggest a potential singles match between Blake Monroe and Giulia, which would serve as Monroe’s main roster in-ring debut. Alternatively, WWE is considering a six-woman tag team match featuring Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley against Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab. The event also includes a high-profile rematch between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, as well as a match featuring rapper Lil Yachty against Baron Corbin.
