WWE discusses early WrestleMania 43 plans for Saudi Arabia

WWE is reportedly engaging in early creative discussions for WrestleMania 43, which is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in April 2027. Potential main event matchups under consideration include a rematch between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, following their encounter at SummerSlam 2026, and a clash between Roman Reigns and Oba Femi. While these plans are in preliminary stages and subject to change, the company is also looking to feature Rhea Ripley prominently, provided she is medically cleared from her meniscus injury.

In recent SmackDown programming, Cody Rhodes has shown signs of a character shift, appearing to embrace a darker persona after a confrontation with Baron Corbin and Randy Orton. Additionally, a match involving R-Truth was prematurely ended due to a physical issue, which reports suggest was a legitimate injury rather than a scripted event.
