WWE stars Rusev (Miro Barnyashev) and CJ Perry (known as Lana) have announced they are expecting their first child, a boy, due on April 28, 2027. The couple shared the news in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, describing the experience as a “wild and emotional journey” following an in vitro fertilization (IVF) process.
The couple began their IVF treatment in 2025. After an embryo transfer on August 10, 2026, they confirmed the pregnancy through testing on August 21. Perry noted that the process involved significant uncertainty, including waiting for embryos to develop and undergoing genetic testing.
They have chosen the name Bear Petrov Barnyashev for their son. Rusev stated that the name Bear was a long-held vision, while the middle name Petrov honors Perry’s father.
