WWE holds Raw and SmackDown tapings in Ottawa

WWE recently held Raw and SmackDown tapings at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.

On SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis scheduled a Triple Threat match between Kevin Owens, Gunther, and Finn Balor to determine the next challenger for Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk. The women’s card includes Tatum Paxley vs. Michin, Jacy Jayne vs. Paige, and a tag team match featuring Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton against Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Additionally, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are set for a confrontation ahead of their September 6 match.

During the Raw event, LA Knight addressed his feud with Roman Reigns and the Bloodline, leading to a segment with Solo Sikoa and a subsequent tag team challenge from The Usos. In the women’s division, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Roxanne Perez with assistance from Becky Lynch. Other notable action included a qualifier match between Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee for the AAA number one contenders tournament.
