WWE and AAA host major wrestling events across Mexico and the US

WWE and AAA are conducting a major series of wrestling events across North and South America in September 2026. A central highlight is the return of WWE SmackDown to Mexico City for the first time in 15 years, held at Arena CDMX. The broadcast features a high-stakes rematch for the Undisputed WWE Championship between CM Punk and Sami Zayn, alongside Chelsea Green defending the Interim WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax.

Simultaneously, AAA is hosting Triplemania 34, with opening night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and the second night at Arena CDMX. Following WWE's acquisition of AAA in 2025, the two promotions are co-producing these events, featuring crossover talent and championship matches involving both organizations.

In South America, WWE's South America Live Tour 2026 included stops in Ecuador and Colombia, with recent shows in Quito and Bogotá featuring stars such as Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and Stephanie Vaquer. The tour also includes tryouts for regional talent in Santiago, Chile.
