WWE launches 2026 King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, finals set for Night of Champions in Riyadh
WWE will begin its 2026 King and Queen of the Ring tournaments on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW. The men’s and women’s competitions will culminate at the Night of Champions premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 27. Winners of each tournament are slated to receive championship matches at SummerSlam.
Participants already announced include LA Knight and Trick Williams on the men’s side, and former NXT and TNA Knockouts World Champion Jacy Jayne on the women’s side. The tournaments follow a recent pattern where the King and Queen of the Ring titles have served as pathways to world championship opportunities, as seen with past winners Gunther, Nia Jax and Cody Rhodes.
The events are part of WWE’s summer schedule, with the finals traditionally held at Night of Champions, ensuring the victors a direct shot at the top titles later in the year.
