WWE moves ‘Main Event’ from YouTube to Rumble
WWE has announced that ‘Main Event’ will move from YouTube to the Rumble video platform beginning October 14. The program is scheduled to air every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET as part of Rumble Sport’s lineup.
Rumble’s Chief Content Officer Claudio Ramolo described the show as a ‘key pillar’ in the platform’s expanding sports programming, noting that WWE content has historically been among the most-watched across various media formats. WWE Executive Vice President Alex Varga stated that serving a digital-first audience is a core focus for the company and noted Rumble’s commitment to delivering premium programming.
Founded in 2013, Rumble has positioned itself as an alternative to platforms like YouTube and Twitch. The company has received significant investment, including $25 million from investors including J.D. Vance and Peter Thiel, and a $775 million investment from Tether in 2024. The platform is known for hosting various conservative commentators and has previously hosted Dana White’s Power Slap.
